This years South Island Event was held at the Trafalgar Centre in the beautiful city of Nelson.
31 teams came together to strut their stuff, catch up with old friends, make new ones and enjoy a weekend of Fun, Fitness and Friendship.
The day started with the March Past and Opening addresses, then the marching began. Starting with the host team, Tasman Blue Beats, each team completed their display.
At the end of the displays, all of the teams were on the floor for the Maze march, a chance for a bit of fun, it was a sea of colour and happy women.
Raffles were then drawn and thanks made to helpers.
But of course the day wasn’t over, it was partay time, ‘Christmas Party time’ to be exact.
