Masters Games 2021

By | 2020-03-18T07:14:02+12:00 March 18th, 2020|Events|0 Comments

Hi Fellow Leisure Marchers

The Masters Games in Whanganui are to be held Saturday 6 February through to Sunday 14 February 2021.

Gloria Roche (Avalon Supremes) and myself (Silver Diamonds) have been liaising with the committee of the Whanganui Games to have Marching included as one of the offered sports. They have agreed that this would be a great addition to the Games and have asked us to push it forward.

Before we go too far down the organising track, we thought we should give a ‘shout out’ to see how many teams may be interested in attending. The probable date would be either Saturday 13 or Sunday 14 February depending on venue availability.

We are not asking you to commit, we just need to get an idea of numbers to make sure that it would be a viable exercise.

If you are interested, you can either ‘message me me (Di Houghton) 022 122 43868’ or send an email to:  marchingmg2021@gmail.com

We aren’t sure of costs yet as this will be dependent on venue hire etc.

It would be a great build up to the Nationals and another great opportunity just to ‘strut your stuff’.

Look forward to hearing from you.
