Hi Ladies

Our plans are well underway to host and have fun at the Tauranga North Island Day in September.
A few points of interest to note with this initial communication:

NEWSLETTERS

We plan to have three (3) Newsletters before September for those teams who register beginning after registration closes. These will be either emailed or posted (as teams advise their preference) and they will also be placed on the Leisure Marching website.

REGISTRATION FORM

Note the reply date and ensure that you send your team’s registration in by that date (Friday 14th May). The Registration Form is on the Leisure Marching website just in case you misplace yours.

INTERESTING INFORMATION (see below)

These details can be sent in with your registration form or if you prefer, returned after the next Newsletter or email to the co-ordinator. The form is also on the Leisure Marching website.

ITEMS BEING OFFERED FOR SALE

Information about the items for sale will be given in a future Newsletter.

LUNCHES/FOOD FOR SALE

We have engaged Daniels in the Park Restaurant to cater for the event. You will be able to order packed lunches, details in a future newsletter, and/or you can purchase food from their “shop” set up in Memorial Hall (adjacent to the QE Youth Centre and all under one cover). There is a variety of items offered for sale at very reasonable prices.

RIBBONS

Ribbons will be given to each person registered to take part.

SOCIAL EVENT

For the Kiwiana event on the Saturday evening we will ask you to bring a decoration, in keeping with your costume theme, for your table. There will be prizes given for the best of these.

COSTUMES

Prizes will also be given for the best team costumes in keeping with the Kiwiana theme.

That covers this preliminary what’s happening; what do I need to know; what about …… for the moment.

We issue a warm invitation for your team to join us in September – let’s make this another one of those memorable leisure marching events. With your support, we can achieve that …..

Kind regards

Tauranga Leisure Marching North Island Day Committee
